U-Battery featured in Industry Link magazine

26 October 2020

U-Battery is showcased in the latest edition of the UK Nuclear Industry Association's (NIA) Industry Link magazine following its success in progressing through to Phase 2 of the UK Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy's Advanced Modular Reactor competition.

The interview, with General Manager Steve Threlfall, describes this achievement and additional funding as an opportunity to accelerate the pace of development.

Steve said: "What we're trying to do in the UK is ensure that the foundation industries have a future, by having a low-carbon heat supply...which is really difficult to achieve with renewables...It's just more efficient...and a unique selling point of what U-Battery does in the UK."
