U-Battery presents at Alberta Innovates’ SMR Learning Series

02 March 2021

U-Battery was pleased to attend Alberta Innovates’ SMR Learning Series on 2 March 2. The event brought together nuclear developers, regulators, utilities, and government officials to explore how nuclear energy and SMRs can play a central role in Canada’s sustainable energy transformation.

Our very own Chris White, was a panel participant on ‘Let’s Talk Tech – A Deep Dive on SMR Technologies,’ during which he outlined the progress that U-Battery has made so far in developing our advanced SMR unit for the Canadian market and how its eventual deployment will help Canada achieve its goals of net-zero by 2050.

U-Battery offers a path forward for Canada that will enable energy security, energy equity and environmental sustainability for all Canadians, and power regional economic development in the country’s Northern and remote communities.

U-Battery would like to thank Alberta Innovates for the opportunity to take part in this event.
